Technical requirements for content and artwork uploads. Sticking to these specs avoids processing issues and ensures your content looks and sounds right across all devices.
Assets & Artwork
PNG or JPEG. Color depth is flexible — use whatever your source files are already in.

Video
MP4 is the preferred format. MOV, WebM, and MKV are also supported.
- Codec: H.264 preferred. H.265 and AV1 are accepted.
- Resolution: 1080p minimum. 4K preferred.
- Frame rate: 30 or 60 fps. 24fps is not recommended.
- File size: Keep under 50GB. Use lossless compression to reduce file size without quality loss.
- Starting timecode and head/tail build are not required.
Audio
- Codec: AAC
- Bitrate: 128 or 192 kbps
- Sample rate: 48 kHz
- Channels: Stereo 2.0. 5.1 and 7.1 surround are also supported.
- Mux audio directly into the video file. Separate audio tracks are supported for alternate languages.
Closed Captions
- Format: SRT or VTT
- Style: Pop-on only. Roll-up captions are not supported.
- Starting timecode: 00:00:00,000
- Encoding: UTF-8
- One file per language. Multiple language captions are supported — upload each language as a separate file.
